Celebrate the Occasion

This weeks Challenge from Celebrate the Occasion HERE sees me making a boys card from 'Shrinky Dinks'  I just love these - and whenever I have done them in my Children's groups at work the children are always fascinated by the potential of them to shrink from large to small.  This is a boys card I made (considering I have 4 girls we are very rarely invited to boys parties I don't think I did too bad!).  The digger was traced from a coloring book reduced and then drawn onto the shrinky dink paper in sections - then the different areas were attached by split pins and a background and sentiment voila! there you have it.  Thanks to Celebrate the Occasion for the opportunity to enter and thanks for looking have a great week crafting :)

    Debbie! I love it. Such a great job considering being surrounded in girls. Love that you chose to add shrinkies to it. Shrinkies were the biggest boy craze of the 80s. He will love it and perfect job on the tractor too! I'm so glad the world is seeing your fabulous work! xx
